What is obesity? Obesity is overweight of our body.Obesity is one of the problem faced by most of the people throughout the world. One of the reason for obesity is lifestyle. Intake of food at untime, consuming a lot of junk food cakes pizzas, beverages.The other reason for obesity is lack of exercise.Exercise keeps us physically and mentally active.
In early days food was usually prepared at home in a very healthy and hygienic way. Today people are busy with their routine work, and they hardly get time to prepare their food. So they have food at restaurants, which is not healthy as home-made food. At present people order their food through swiggy or zomato which is much easier.
Nowadays, children enjoy having food out at restaurants, which is not healthy.
The cost of living is high when compared to made food at home, besides being unhealthy.
In some countries like Singapore, Malaysia most people take food in hawkers.Hawkers is a place where there are many food stalls or shop at one place, get a variety of food in one place.
Overeating is another reason for obesity, in take of high amount of energy especially fat and sugar, but do not burn energy through exercise and physical activities, surplus of energy will be stored by the body as fat.
The other reasons for obesity is Genetics, consuming food high in carbohydrates, and medication.
The best way to treat obesity is to eat healthy, low-carb foods drink plenty of water, do exercise regularly. Eat more servings of vegetables and fruits.Focus on the nutritional content of your food. Learn about and understand your eating habits.
Obesity results from taking in more calories than are burned by exercise and normal daily activities. Obesity is usually self-treatable and self diagnosable. Obesity occurs when a persons body mass index is 25 or greater..The excessive body fat increases the risk of serious health problem.
Exercise regularly, follow a healthy eating plan, monitor your weight regularly, be consistent, are the best ways to prevent
obesity.
