BROCCOLI

Broccoli is a green branched vegetable .It belongs to the cruciferous family along with cauliflower and kale and it can be eaten raw or cooked.Broccoli is a good source of fiber and protein and contains iron,calcium, potassium and magnesium as well as vitamins A,C.E,K including folic acid.Vitamin K play a important role in keeping our bones strong and healthy,vitamin K can improve bone health as well as increasing bone mineral density.

Broccoli soup

Ingredients

Broccoli           1 small flower

onion                 1 thinly sliced

butter               2tsp

water               3 cups[according to consistency]
Method;
Place a cooker on stove add 2 tsp of butter saute the sliced onion when it becomes transparent add broccoli, saute for 2 or 3 minutes pour water, salt to taste  and pressure cook the soup, when gas releases open the cooker ,boil the soup till the raw smell goes, if the soup is thick add little water ,broccoli soup is ready to serve hot seasoning with pepper powder.
